Save energy to protect our globe

There are 600 cities in the United States to prepare or have installed LED road lights including LED street light and LED tunnel light by the end of 2013, of which New York City will replace 250,000 LED street light and LED tunnel light before 2017 , which can save electricity and maintenance costs at $ 14 million a year , six years is expected to recover.

   

Europe has energy saving and carbon reduction goals 20/20/20 executed by the respective countries ; such as the London City of UK recently announced replacement of street lights with 35,000 LED street lights and LED tunnel light by 2016 when the penetration rate will be close to 7 percent.

China put forward ” Ten thousand lamps in ten cities ” program early in 2009, but because there is no national standard, the quality varies greatly , progress has lagged behind Europe ; but there are currently rapid progress on the installation of LED light in the first-tier?cities, such as there are 300,000 LED road lights and LED street light installed in the six cities of the Pearl River Delta , Guangdong Province last year,in addition， the 250,000 street lights were installed in five cities and 11 counties of Taiwan , leading to 64 billion Taiwan dollars .
