UK Bardsey Island Lighthouse replaced with the red LED to protect birds

The lighthouse on the UK Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) has been the navigation coordinate of the Irish Sea for decades, and the beam with 89,900 candle power can be irradiated to 22 miles away from the sea at night. Staff Steven Stanfield said after the lighthouse lamps replaced with LED flood lights, the red light which do not attract birds to reduce bird mortality.
