Save energy to protect our globe

Huang Weigang，Mayor of Monterey Park City published the municipal report of 2014 and future municipal planning. Monterey Park ( commonly referred to as the Mongolian Chinese American city) is a small city in Los Angeles County, California, located in the east of Los Angeles, on the foot of King Hills of the San Gabriel Valley. Huang Weigang said the city has just agreed with recently that all of the household water meter in the city will be updated within a year, while the city’s public street lights will be replaced with the LED street lights within two years, which is not only to save electricity, but to improve the lighting function. In the near future the city will usher in two large shopping centers, three hotels.

 

He said the city through municipal transparency is to allow the residents to know and oversight of the city’s each policy, and encourage people to actively provide suggestions and advice to help more perfect urban construction. Today Monterey Park City has installed giant screen in the city hall of municipal government, scrolling to play ongoing projects and future planning of the city at this stage. With the joint efforts of us， we eagerly expect that the Mongolian city can continue to develop  so that every citizen to enjoy a comfortable life.
